UGC NET 2024 NOTIFICATION OUT

The National Testing Agency (NTA) posted the UGC NET 2024 Notification on its official website on 20th April 2024, which includes registration and exam dates. The notification PDF for the June 2024 UGC NET exam, aimed at the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions, is accessible on the NTA's official site. The NTA is set to administer the UGC National Eligibility Test for JRF and Assistant Professor eligibility across 83 subjects using the Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

UGC NET EXAM DATE 2024 OUT

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the UGC NET Exam schedule for 2024's June session on their official portal, www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. According to the latest notification, the UGC NET 2024 examination is set for the 16th of June 2024. The exam will take place in two shifts each day. Shift 1 will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Shift 2 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The UGC NET Admit Card for 2024 will be available a few days prior to the examination date. राष्ट्रीय परीक्षण एजेंसी (एनटीए) ने अपनी आधिकारिक वेबसाइट www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in के माध्यम से जून चक्र के लिए यूजीसी नेट परीक्षा तिथि 2024 को संशोधित किया है। अधिसूचना पीडीएफ के अनुसार यूजीसी नेट 2024 परीक्षा 16 जून 2024 को आयोजित की जाएगी। यूजीसी नेट परीक्षा प्रतिदिन 2 पालियों में आयोजित की जाएगी। यूजीसी नेट शिफ्ट 1 सुबह 9:00 बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक और शिफ्ट 2 दोपहर 2:0 बजे से शाम 6:00 बजे तक आयोजित की जाती है। यूजीसी नेट एडमिट कार्ड 2024 परीक्षा तिथि से दो से तीन दिन पहले जारी किया जाएगा।

UGC NET 2024 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

UGC NET EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Applicants must hold a master's degree or its equivalent from a UGC-accredited university or institution. 

• Those who have completed a 4-year/8-semester bachelor's degree program must have at least 75% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade point average, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, EWS, and other categories. 

• Candidates in the final semester of their postgraduate studies may also apply. 

• The qualifying examination must be passed in the fields of Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, and Electronic Science.

 • General category candidates must have obtained 55% marks, while reserved category students need 50% marks. 

• Final semester master's degree students are also eligible to apply. 

• A 5% mark relaxation is available for Ph.D. degree holders, provided their master's degree examination was completed by 19th September 1991. 

 • उम्मीदवारों को यूजीसी से मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालयों या संस्थानों से मास्टर डिग्री या इसके समकक्ष स्नातक होना चाहिए। 

• 4-वर्षीय/8-सेमेस्टर स्नातक डिग्री कार्यक्रम उत्तीर्ण करने वाले उम्मीदवारों के पास कुल मिलाकर न्यूनतम 75% अंक या एक बिंदु पैमाने पर इसके समकक्ष ग्रेड होना चाहिए, जहां भी ग्रेडिंग प्रणाली का पालन किया जाता है। एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी (नॉन-क्रीमी लेयर)/दिव्यांग, आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग (ईडब्ल्यूएस) और अन्य श्रेणी से संबंधित लोगों के लिए 5% अंक या इसके समकक्ष ग्रेड की छूट दी जा सकती है। 

• वे उम्मीदवार जो स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री के अंतिम सेमेस्टर में हैं, वे भी आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। 

• योग्यता परीक्षा मानविकी (भाषाओं सहित) और सामाजिक विज्ञान, कंप्यूटर विज्ञान और अनुप्रयोग और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक विज्ञान में उत्तीर्ण होनी चाहिए। 

• उम्मीदवारों को 55% अंक और आरक्षित श्रेणी के छात्रों के लिए 50% अंक प्राप्त होने चाहिए। 

• मास्टर डिग्री के अंतिम सेमेस्टर में शामिल होने वाले अभ्यर्थी भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं। 

• पीएचडी डिग्री धारकों को कुल अंकों में 5% की छूट दी जाती है। ऐसे उम्मीदवारों के पास मास्टर डिग्री परीक्षा होनी चाहिए जो 19 सितंबर 1991 तक पूरी हो जाएगी।

UGC NET AGE LIMIT (as on 01/06/2024)

• Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) - Not more than 30 years. 

 • A five-year relaxation in the upper age limit is granted for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD categories. 

• Candidates holding an L.L.M. degree are eligible for a three-year age relaxation. Additionally, up to five years of relaxation is available for candidates who have served in the armed forces, depending on the length of service, up to the first day of the month when the UGC-NET examination is scheduled. 

• The total age relaxation based on the above criteria shall not exceed five years under any circumstances. 

 • For the position of Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit for applying for the UGC-NET. 

 • जूनियर रिसर्च फेलोशिप (जेआरएफ) - 30 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं।

 • ओबीसी-एनसीएल, एससी, एसटी और पीडब्ल्यूडी श्रेणियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा में पांच साल की छूट दी गई है। 

• एलएलएम वाले अभ्यर्थियों को आयु में तीन वर्ष की छूट अनुमन्य होगी। डिग्री। सशस्त्र बलों में सेवा कर चुके उम्मीदवारों को संबंधित यूजीसी-नेट आयोजित होने वाले महीने के पहले दिन तक सशस्त्र बलों में सेवा की अवधि के अधीन 5 साल तक की छूट प्रदान की जाती है।

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR UGC NET 2024 EXAM

Candidates must upload all original documents in the specified sizes as detailed in the notification PDF. 

The necessary documents for the UGC NET June 2024 Application Form include:

 • All educational certificates and mark sheets. 

• PAN Card, License, Passport number, Aadhaar card number, Voter ID card number, or any Government ID proof. 

• Category certificate (if applicable). 

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate (if applicable).

 • Person with Disability (PwD) certificate (if applicable). 

• Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name as recorded in capital letters on the Senior Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate. 

• Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy format as recorded on the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University certificate.

 • Scanned images of photograph and signature in JPG format (photograph file size: 10 kb to 200 kb, signature file size: 4 kb to 30 kb). 

• A valid email ID and mobile number. 

• Permanent and correspondence address with pin code.

 • Subject code for the exam (as listed in the information brochure).

 • Code of post-graduation course (as listed in the information brochure).

• माध्यमिक विद्यालय परीक्षा या समकक्ष बोर्ड/विश्वविद्यालय प्रमाण पत्र में दर्ज जन्मतिथि dd/mm/yyyy प्रारूप में। 

• जेपीजी प्रारूप में फोटोग्राफ और हस्ताक्षर की स्कैन की गई छवियां (फोटोग्राफ फ़ाइल का आकार: 10 केबी से 200 केबी, हस्ताक्षर फ़ाइल का आकार: 4 केबी से 30 केबी)। 

• एक वैध ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर। 

• पिन कोड के साथ स्थायी और पत्राचार पता।

UGC NET 2024 SELECTION PROCEDURE

Candidates who qualify for the UGC NET 2024 entrance test will be included in the subject-wise and category-wise merit list published online. The top 6% of students who have appeared for both papers in the test will be deemed qualified. Admission to various Indian Universities or Institutions for the role of Assistant Professor or JRF will be based on the category-wise cut-off scores achieved. Additionally, the top 15% of candidates from each category and subject will be selected and deemed eligible solely for the Assistant Professor position. 

 यूजीसी नेट 2024 की प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त करने वाले उम्मीदवारों का चयन ऑनलाइन प्रकाशित विषय-वार और श्रेणी-वार मेरिट सूची में किया जाएगा। परीक्षा में दोनों पेपर देने वाले कुल छात्रों में से शीर्ष 6% को प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए योग्य माना जाएगा। सहायक प्रोफेसर या जेआरएफ के पद के लिए विभिन्न भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों या संस्थानों में प्रवेश उनकी श्रेणियों के अनुसार प्राप्त कट-ऑफ स्कोर के आधार पर दिया जाएगा। प्रत्येक श्रेणी और विषय से शीर्ष 15% उम्मीदवारों का चयन किया जाएगा और उन्हें केवल सहायक प्रोफेसर पद के लिए पात्र घोषित किया जाएगा।

UGC NET 2024 ANSWER KEY

Following the entrance exam, the board will release the UGC NET 2024 Answer Key. Candidates will have the option to download the Answer Key in online mode. It will be available for both Paper I and II, in various sets, including all the correct answers to the questions presented in the exam. Should candidates find discrepancies, they have the option to challenge the Answer Key. Once all challenges are reviewed, the board will publish a final Answer Key. प्रवेश परीक्षा पूरी होने के बाद, बोर्ड यूजीसी नेट 2024 उत्तर कुंजी प्रकाशित करेगा। उम्मीदवार उत्तर कुंजी ऑनलाइन मोड से डाउनलोड कर सकेंगे। उत्तर कुंजी पेपर - I और II दोनों के लिए विभिन्न सेटों में जारी की जाएगी जिसमें परीक्षा पेपर में पूछे गए सभी प्रश्नों के सही उत्तर होंगे। यदि उम्मीदवार इसमें दिए गए उत्तरों से संतुष्ट नहीं हैं तो वे उत्तर कुंजी को चुनौती भी दे सकते हैं। चुनौतियों पर विचार करने के बाद बोर्ड द्वारा अंतिम उत्तर कुंजी जारी की जाएगी।
